Fine flax fibre, obtained in process of cottonizing (mechanical cleaning, shortening and distribution of technical fibres into elementary fibres). According to its parameters, kotonina is used in textile industry, furniture, automotive and in the building.
Application
- manufacture of 100 % flax mats – used in furniture industry and as ecological insulations in the buildings,
- in blends with polyester or with polypropylene – to production of thermoplastic or thermosetting mats – used in automotive industry.
