Aramid fibers are known mainly for their low weight and high thermal resistance. Probably the way they conduct heat, gives them a unique characteristic: a high acoustic capacity in relation to their volume and weight. This gives great possibility of using aramid as damping material in many fields of acoustics.

- The material for use in loudspeaker enclosures, acoustic regimes, traps and any installations requiring sound control (improved tonal balance, a small signal response, soundstage, average SPL)
